How To Get to Know a Girl?

How do you get a girl to know you is a fundamental question in a guy’s life.I bet you have encountered guys who got the most successful, beautiful girls and left you astonished by their success. You couldn’t find anything outstanding about them and you are absolutely sure it is not jealousy that has blinded you.

These guys weren’t extremely smart or successful. There was nothing you could have pointed out and say that’s the reason why women fall at their feet. Nothing unusual about them and yet they had the secret code for cracking the essence of the question how do you get a girl to like you in an effortless manner.

Now, I know the clichés, we all know them about guys who are tough, playing it hard to get and hurt girls who keep on chasing after them begging for another rejection.

But those guys, I must ask myself, are they enjoying this unfertile dance? Maybe they do but I don’t see the point of getting a girl to know you and  like you if in the following day you don’t have the slightest interest in her.

A guy told me once that when he passes near a girl he fancies he look through her rather than at her. “Do that and that will do the job” he told me. Now maybe it works, we all suffer from this psychological bug as Graucho Marx famous quote implies: I do not want to belong to a club that accepts people like me.

However, these methods are not for me. I prefer staying naïve and authentic and get girls who like guys like me, who hasn’t lost a romantic point of view.

Anyway, the bottom line is I want a girl who is mature enough to appreciate my respectful attitude, my honesty and my ability to show affection.

I don’t want someone who is masochistic; a type of girl that wants a guy just because he doesn’t want her. I want someone stable though I must admit unstable girls also have their charms…

How to get to know a girl-Get to Know Yourself

In order to learn how to get to know a girl you first need to get to learn yourself. What do I mean by that? You have to know your strengths and your weaknesses. Actually, one of your main strengths can be knowing your weaknesses. If you are aware of yourself and of your weak parts it can help you as first people admire people who are self conscious and know themselves. Second, you can use it and leverage it for making jokes about yourself. There is nothing more sexy and appealing than sense of humor. If there was a survey what is the most attracting attribute in a man most women would have answered sense of humor more than kindness and generosity and good looking.

Be gentle and generous

Ask her out and if she agrees make all the preparations. For example if you decided to go to a restaurant or to a movie make the reservations. Let her know that you made efforts for her. Do not be afraid to show her that it is important for you that your first date will be something special.

Ask her about her life:

Show interest in her personal life and her world. in order to create an intimate atmosphere

Ask her questions about the story of her life: where did she grow up? How was it growing up where she grew? Does she have good relationships with her siblings? What’s important in her life? Those are the way to create intimacy. it can be very interesting to talk about politics or about some intellectual issue but in order to move it to the next level and make it more romantic and just friendly it is important to focus on her life.

Be hygienic and smell good:

It seems that I am stating the obvious. Well, smell has a major role in our attraction. We might not be aware of that but smell has a great impact on us. Make sure you look clean and hygienic. It makes good impression and it shows the girl that you invest time in yourself.

Be creative

Do not be afraid to be creative. Many people will tell you do not look over enthusiastic and you may interpret it do not make effort.  That’s wrong interpretation. You need to make an effort, it will be admired. how I would interpret “not being over enthusiastic” will be that for example if you call her and she says she is busy and will call you in a few hours, let her call. Wait and do not push it. Even if she doesn’t get back to you exactly when she said she will, do not call her. Give her the time to make this move. However, being creative will raise your score. You can be creative when you first ask her to go out with you. For example: write on a ball: would you like to go out with me? The ball is now in your field” or make a car from origami paper and ask her whether she would like to come with you to a ride. Being creative means that you are have confidence in yourself: you are not afraid to express your uniqueness and the fact that you like her. Let your authenticity shine shine shine…
